Anonymous Hacks FBI Conference Call with Brits

Anonymous is back in force, once again flexing its hacking muscles. This time the leaderless activist collective managed to break into a private FBI conference call, in what is sure to give the US government nightmares.

Ironically, the subject of the call was tracking and arresting hackers. And they discussed it while hackers (and now, the entire world) listened in.

"I'm not sure if we're the only two on right now or not," said an American voice, starting the call. He was talking to an agent from Great Britain.

Anonymous managed to get into the call by having an email with the details of how to join in. Whether they obtained this through hacking or was forwarded to them is unknown at this moment, but, seeing as how they are a hacktivist collective, we can make an educated guess.

Fortunately for the agents in the call, very little new information was shared (something that anyone who attends meeting regularly can understand) but the mere fact that Anonymous was able to do this says volumes. For all the US government knows, this is how Anonymous members have managed to avoid being arrested for so long.

This should serve as a warning: anything that goes over the net can be broken into, if the hacker or hackers are dedicated enough. I bet, right now, there are meetings discussing how best to stop this kind of thing.
