Full IE coming to XBox 360 with Kinect Support

Microsoft is apparently dead-set on turning the XBox 360 into the home entertainment solution for your TV, now moving into the realm where Google has been toiling.

During their E3 keynote, they let an interesting tidbit slip: that they are bringing Internet Explorer to their console, complete with Kinect support. Their resoning? While other companies have web solutions for the TV, "no one is using them" because "keyboards don't belong in the living room."

Microsoft plans on offering a fully hands-free way to interact with your sites instead, with both body and voice recognition powering their tech.

Microsoft could be on to something here, if the company can keep it intuitive enough. Too many Kinect-induced delays or mistranslations will make the whole experience just plain painful.
