Google Intros Chrome Multitask : April Fools

We all know that multitasking tends to destroy your productivity. But at Google, they think that is largely a hardware problem. No matter how hard you try, you can really only do one thing at a time with your computer.

Google is changing all that. Their newest innovation is Chrome Multitask, a new approach to browsing the web.

Chrome Multitask makes you more efficient by adding more cursors to the screen. Just hook up a second or third mouse to your computer and you’re set. You can have as many cursors as you have hands, so if you happen to have a third arm then you are golden.

Multitask mode has the added benefit of letting you and your friends browse the web at the same time on the same machine. Check email, search for directions, even chat with your mom, all while your friend browses for porn.

The new multitask mode lets you get the most out of your day. If you’re like me, you’d rather play a video game than make a presentation. Now, thanks to Google, you can do both at the same time.

This has to be one of Google’s best innovations yet.

If you’re on the fence about Google’s new Multitask mode, you can test it out with your single mouse at Google.com/chrome/multitask. Once you’ve seen the video and tried the demo, you will know that Google has once again invented the future.

Note: this is an April Fools day post. Google Multitask isn’t more than a funny video and a clever HTML5 parlor trick. So watch and enjoy, but don’t worry: we won’t be dual-wielding mice any time soon.
