This masterpiece that was released last Thursday is the work of musician Jim Guthrie well known for credits like Royal City and Human Highway, graphic and pixel artist Craig Adams known as Superbrothers, and the local studio Capybara. From the names of the developers, you can obviously see that this game is not only going to pump up your adrenaline level, but also take you through an audiovisual world of fantasy.

This Clash of Heroes is based on pixel-art style and resembles the old school point-and-click type adventure game. According to Adams, this videogame-like experience would be enjoyed by the gamers because you can't easily find out the options. It is the developer's opinion that the discovery part is going to make the game even more exciting. Some other exciting features include music-based puzzles and dreamlands of the vinyl album. In the fight scenes, when you're fighting your enemies you have to rotate the iPad, which is amazing. Another interesting feature is the change of areas with the phase of the moon. This game has surprises at every turn and a wonderful non-sequitur small-talk dialog.

The developers did not want to reveal the plot of the story and they wanted the gamer to explore it. Do you want to figure out the plot? Play the game and find it. Humor is also a flavor that you would see throughout the game. Guthrie pointed out that even making a cheaper 99-cent app game requires a lot of work from the developers and he also added that Swords & Sworcery EP is an entirely different game that iPad gamers would love to play.

This is the first joint venture of Guthrie and Adams. Guthrie said that this game is all about problem solving. It is like you see a problem, form an idea, solve the problem, and then once again, the problem returns to life. The developers also had huge praises for Capybara who helped them to bring their vision to life.

This iPad game is priced at 4.99 dollar and will hit the stores within a month. Guthrie's soundtrack is expected to be released in a week. Well you iPad gamers, it's time to raise your swords and whack the enemies!
